      Fifty karyotypes showed no consistent loss or gain of particular chromosomes. Twenty-eight percent of the cells with 45 chromosomes were C-; 53% of all cells had an extra D and 35% had an extra F. Only N1 and N18 were not affected by gain or loss. No marker chromosomes noted.

      Subculturing:  Protocol: Cultures can be maintained by the addition of fresh medium or replacement of medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension at 2 to 3 X 10 exp5 viable cells/ml. Maintain cell density between 2 to 3 X 10 exp5 and 1 to 2 X 10 exp6 viable cells/ml.
